New Initiatives

I recently found DannyChoo.com and got to reading some of his back articles. Consequently, I've been refueled as far as passion is concerned. I've resolved to return to Otakon for one last hurrah (read: blowing ridiculous amounts of money beyond my budget). I figure I'll be 21 soon and at that point running around Otakon with a bunch of 15-year-olds just isn't cool, even if most of your time is spent in the game room.

Also thanks to Danny Choo, I've put some thought in to not what it is I want to do but how exactly I've been living my life to get there. Consequently, I've started working towards programming, writing, and soon (as funds permit) artistry.

To sum things up my life feels pretty good these days. I'm sorry but chances are your life sucks a lot more than mine.

How does this tie in to the blog? Well, I've decided on reaching an average post count of one post per week. That means I 52-posts by the end of December. To reach that goal I plan on going for 2 posts a week during the summer and hopefully, about 3 posts every two weeks starting next week. This post, doesn't count toward that goal.

The Final Time

Naturally, I find an overwhelming amount of inspiration for blog topics during finals week. Just as naturally, I cannot bring myself to compose a full post because I need to be doing work. So here I am, making blog posts during work because I can't reasonably do school work here. There's a chance I'll keep this up and the blog will be back on the daily post regimen I wanted. I wouldn't hold my breath though.

I honestly, have some topics I want to write on -- one specifically for my application to Black Salvage, a blog that targets the black community with articles that focus on black social commentary. This blog is run by a friend of mine and since he opened the floor to writers I've wanted to bring myself awareness and composition ability to a level fitting on a serious blog.

Winter break officially begins December 20, 2007 so wish me luck until then.

The Floodgates Are Open

I just opened the blog up to anonymous comments. Hopefully, I won't regret this decision and get spammed. I didn't want to deter anyone from commenting just because they'd have to log-in first.

Just a note: Blogger is owned by Google. Consequently, your Google account (ex. gMail) will log you in and allow you to comment.
