Things I Miss In Korea: Black Women

Imagine this guy with a black jacket and few less teeth and you have my mugger.

I'm walking the street and some old man literally grabbed me and then just smiled and waved. Don't misunderstand, he didn't run up and announce his presence. He did not tap me repeated on the shoulder. He casually walked past me and then yanked my arm as I trailed the group. Did I mention I was with a four-man set?

I should've seen it coming. Normally, these things don't phase me one bit. For some reason, I was relaxed. We were having a good day. Even if something were to happen, we had the Englishman. He always ends up taking the front of the attention storm. Thanks buddy.

But yeah, I was grabbed (read: assaulted). For a second, I forgot I was in Korea and got ready to beat down a mugger (read: hand over all my worldly possessions) . It was super weird.

This is one of those obvious things. Isolated societies tend to have low Black populations. Don't misunderstand though. I don't miss Black people. I saw Black people here. A lot of those Army guys are the same annoying punks I left back in the States. I miss Black women.

I shamelessly stole this from one of my friend's Facebook albums. She should be honored for not only is she hot but she keeps good company.

You don't see that here. You get like one or two for a night and then the party's over. Maybe I'm getting nostalgic or maybe I really took living in PG for granted. Either way we need more Black girls in Korea. On second thought, I'd probably regret that if it ever came true. So let's just keep reminiscing and in the mean time keep the football cheering Korean girls coming.

You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find pictures of a relatively normal looking Korean girl on the internet.
