Oh snap, the big move!
As you may have noticed - my blog is no longer "n4AEGIS." I've decided to move to a seperate top-level domain and my own hosting. Cool? Yes. However, seeing as this is still just another blog why drop all this money? Well, I decided I needed a platform to publish the projects I'm working on and I'd probably need a paid host for that. Yes, there are goodies coming - I only ask that you wait a bit longer.
I also now have a work environment for other forms of web-based development not limited to other websites and web-enabled applications. I don't have some grand roadmap laid out but I'm sure I'll have some neat stuff in the works soon enough. It's about time, right? With graduation on the horizon, I decided it's pretty much now or sometime far in the future when I have far less potential for greatness.
So expect more posts and even more non-blog content. I should probably get a resume on here or something...

Yay for progress. How was the transition from blogspot to wordpress? Looks like you kept most of the database intact.

So I guess it actually lost my last comment. Weird. I thought maybe it was being held for moderation.
Anyway, I think I noted that everything seemed to went smoothly. I guess blogspot to wordpress works well enough?

I deleted that “First Post” that comes when you install WordPress. Sorry about that. I need to do something about the moderation.
Yeah, the blogspot the wordpress move worked out pretty well. I’m liking this a lot more. There’s a lot more power behind wordpress than blogspot. A lot of things (like additonal pages) I was trying to figure out how I would work it in to some layout I designed but wordpress handles that too. Things have come a long way from the PHP/SSI driven CMS apps like NewsPro/Coranto.
EDIT: I found one of your comments flagged for spam — I promptly fixed that. I will be checking multiple times daily to make sure things move out of the “moderation” queue as fast as possible. Sorry about that PK.

Ya, I was talking about the flagged one, apparently. That’s odd that it flagged it. Maybe it filters “blogspot”, hah.
Is there a reason you have it setup to moderate comments before they’re posted? I’d just let everything through and turn on the akismet plugin. It works 99.9% of the time. It’s awesome.

I have the akismet plug-in. I really didn’t mess with a lot of the default settings. I’ll make sure to go let everyone through and leave it to akismet to catch spam.
EDIT: Just fixed it, it was automatically holding comments from first time posters. Now everyone is free to post and Akismet has been on from day one.
